how about a 1982 topps traded set...then at least you know you will pull a ripken rookie...only variable is the condition.

It's a shame that 2 members hijacked your other thread. I love the way you handled it though! Nice job!

I saw you bought a box of hockey cards on Target.com. You may already be aware of this but Target stores are releasing trading cards every Friday morning at opening and they have had hockey boxes the last 2 weeks if you are looking to buy more.

Good luck on your quest for the best box to buy. Unfortunately I am a newbie so I have no opinion for you.😎

definitely worth a look but I have tons of Ripken rookie cards so I'm leaning toward something fun that I either don't have or don't have much of.............

1990 Score Supplemental Football - you can buy 6 - 7 sets for that.

Kiss me once, shame on you.

There is a 2018 Update on eBay for 1100. I expect they will double in the next 2-3 years

If you negotiate with a few sellers, you might be able to get a 2005 series 2 Upper Deck hockey box for 1k.

I like the idea of most hockey boxes from 2005.

Some other fun ones that come to mind:

There are some 2018 Futera Unique World Football boxes listed for under a grand at the moment, the same seller has 2016 Futera Unique ones that might be possible to negotiate down, worth a shot.

    1987 Leaf baseball

    2018 Topps Chrome UEFA

There are a few different years of Panini Megacracks (MGK) that fit that price range too.

I agree if you are looking for modern. For Vintage you can grab an 83 vending box FASC for about 750 on the bay. Can't go wrong on the 83 IMO, but the 2018 update probably has more potential upside but a lower floor.

I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.

Do the 93 finest have a major bricking problem? I opened a box of 95 finest and had significant losses on each card due to sticking together.

I’ve opened a few boxes of 1993 finest basketball and did not have any problem with bricking.

I wouldn’t think anything from the 90s would have much value just due to overproduction. I would go 2018, 2019, 2020 and definitely start buying up 2021 as they are released. I’m strictly into baseball just because that’s the only sport I have ever really followed but from what I’ve seen I wish I had gotten into basketball a few years ago!
