Willie Mays Topps 250 - Refractor w/ original Topps protector and coating & many more cards

I have owned this card for many years and it has been in a hard case. It is ungraded, but its in amazing shape. The only flaw is that in one corner the protective coating is starting to lift. The corner of the card is perfect and the coating still sticks to the card, but is very weak. Was wondering if this is a rare card, especially with the original coating on it still, and how much it could be worth?

I'm going through my entire collection, which is a job in itself, and have about 400 quality cards that would be worth grading. Just not sure if I should send some in for grading or just list them for sale. 400 cards at $20 per grade is quite pricey! Just was wondering some thoughts. None of my cards are graded. I also have the following:

  • barry bonds rookie card
  • Ken Griffey Jr rookie card and mid-season
  • Nolan Ryan (a lot of random cards)
  • Pete Rose
  • Derek Jetter rookie card (corners not the greatest)
  • multiple Mark McGwire (some rookie and some not)
  • Roger Clemens (multiple)
  • Bo Jackson
