I just received this 1795 Maundy silver penny to see how it matches in hand with the counter stamp.
Looks pretty good to me.
I'd like to see a compilation of all the dies that could have been potentially used for this stamp..

Beautiful coin!
Looks very similar. I can’t imagine them making a separate punch of George III for the c/s. Very intuitive. A collector of British coins would be able to give a definitive answer.
