What are these stickers in the bottom of Panini boxes

What are these stickers in the bottom of Panini boxes? Are they related to security or two tracking

    Looks like the security tags stores have in boxes of cards. The box is usually demagnetized at checkout so when you exit they won't trigger the alarm.

    What are these stickers in the bottom of Panini boxes?
    I do not know; (Yes that is security measure) my Panini boxes are still unopened.

    Radio frequency ID tag.
    Can be used for both inventory and security.
    In the case of boxes of cards, it is for security, because not each one has them. They put them in just enough to keep the crooks guessing.
