first the yanks trade for mondesi and now for jeff weaver. you might look at weavers record at 6-8 and think he's no good but the guy is a pretty good pitcher. his e.r.a is only 3.18 i believe which in todays game is very low. if he didn't pitch for detroit his record would be much better..with the yankees line-up he should win his share of games. man i dislike the yankees image

    Any team could have had a shot at Weaver though, not just the YAnks. Mondesi was a different situation, not every team can take on $20 million dollars.

    Of course. They have the highest payroll in baseball and if they didn't, they wouldn't be as successful as they have if they were to be struck with a salary cap...something MLB needs to seriously think about doing.

    calikev, lol trust me i saw it image . i also saw where you put it as your new favorite card so i wasn't going to ask about whether you planned on trading it. very nice pull anyways
