Anyone have a link to trace a missing USPS package?

I have a package that is "out for delivery" since last Saturday.
It now shows as:
Your package has a delivery exception. The delivery status of your item has not been updated as of April 18, 2021, 12:10 am. We apologize that it may arrive later than expected.

The package is:
Awaiting Delivery Scan
April 18, 2021 at 12:10 am

Which means it has not been scanned as delivered and if no scan I am out of luck,,,,, not a cheap item either.

The USPS has been missing tracking on packages for months now. Probably due to CoVid manning. My last package was only going 350 miles and wasn't even scanned in by USPS until day of delivery - 14 days later. In another case from MD to CT (375 miles) a 1 ounce badge took 23 days to show up. It spent 2 weeks circling Baltimore and heading in wrong directions 2-3 times. It had no tracking update for 13 days where it showed "stuck" in Maryland. So this is now the norm.

I'm sure your package is fine. Odds are 99.44% it will show up. You can track it by filing a "where's my delayed package" request....and then they will figure out where it currently is.

Or call the PO where it's supposed to be and ask them to look for it.

I have done that, track down the Po where it was last seen and or going, and have a supv look into it, Had a couple resolved this way prior

I called the Post Office where the buyer lives and they said they are forwarding the package back to me.

At least you know that it's not lost or stolen so there's that. Did they say why it was being sent back to you? That typically happens when the recipient writes refuse on the package and gives it back to the USPS. Has the buyer asked about a refund yet? Or they made the required number of delivery attempts without success in which case they return it to the sender.

It seems the buyer is in the hospital and he had his mail forwarded to a relative but not packages.
