Horizontal PSA Holders ?

A year back I picked up a bunch of official PSA card holders direct from the source. Glad I did as they have been out of stock for a while now.

I have many cards though that are horizontal and displayed vertically in the PSA holder hurts my neck when viewing :) Anyone know of holders made for displaying slabs with horizontal cards?

I've found that if you turn the PSA holder on it's side, you'll be able to view the card with no neck discomfort.

I was going to say that. It bothers me when cards are listed "sideways". I automatically start twisting my neck to get the proper visual.

I wondered about holders for horizontal cards too, especially after seeing a horizontal card slabbed both ways (example: I have seen 71 Munsons with the YANKEES lettering on both the left and right sides of the vertical slab).

It should obviously be done consistently, with the top of the card in landscape view on the left. That is how they usually do it, but some encapsulators don’t seem to have gotten the memo. Don’t they know collectors are OCD! 😡

Yeah I've many non-sports cards where the label to card placement is seemingly decided by a flip of the coin.

Any holder for horizontal card recommendations?

I completely agree with you; however, what happens when they're slabbing a card like a 1998 SP Authentic Peyton Manning? Following your (and my) rationale, the "Future Watch" title would be upside down.

I went with mini Gibson's. They are not as nice as the Official PSA Stands, which I don't like with Horizontal cards, but they do the job and are unobtrusive.

gotta admit, this whole time i didnt know you were talking about display holders. i woulda referred ya to this guy. his name is dan & super nice. i found him on ig, but heres his etsy page in case youre not on there.

does top notch custom ones for fairly cheap. $50-$75 and he’ll do the design work and a couple stands for each type of holder, horizontal & vertical for psa, sgc, bvg, cs1 and toploader.

while you’re at it, take a look at his submission & storage trays too. they are pretty cool and made my desk a lot more organized.

nor should it! the only qualifier card I have on purpose. because it never shoulda in the first place, imo. design flaw not a miscut. 😉

When you put it that way I can’t disagree, but I also can’t stand such a card getting an unqualified PSA 9..How about a new “DF” qualifier?

the “df” qualifier could stand for a couple of different things in my book. design flaw for one. and then another for the guy that messed it up. 😉
