Who is R.W. Bachrach of San Francisco?

I've seen many more East Coast die sinkers than West Coast ones so I was excited to run across this Pike Woolen Co. token which indicates it was struck by Bachrach & Co. of San Francisco.
On Archive.org, I found the following reference:
