Looks like Carlos Rondon just broke up his own Perfect Game in the 9th.

Being played in Chicago: Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Indians, Carlos Rondon had a Perfect Game for the Sox with one out in the 9th inning and he hit Roberto Perez!!! :s It looks like he'll hang on and get the no-hitter, though.

It's a final, Rondon no-hits Cleveland and loses the perfect game in the 9th when he hits a batter. What a bummer.

Honestly, this Indians lineup is a threat to get no-hit every time they take the field.

they really do have nothing. the Team today is reminiscent of the 60's --- good quality pitching with no hitting --- and a continuation of the trend the Indians suffer every 4-6 years. they lost most of their offense because they can't afford to keep players, but what they'll do is develop younger players in their Minor League system and in the next year or two they'll be stocked with talent. those new guys will be signed to 4-5 year contracts at close to the minimum.

it's the sad reality of being a small market Team in today's MLB. the current "wasted player" is Jose Ramirez who will see his time here suck up what could have been some very productive years. that's another scenario that repeats.
