If Holland had Cruyff in the 1978 World Cup they could have won the final.
The 78 final was tied 1-1 going into OT and Argentina pulled out the victory.

I did not know this at all until today, and I thought you soccer followers may not have heard of it as well.

Holland was 29-1 with Cruyff in their line up. Their only loss the 2-1 final in West Germany in 1974.
I have to think that Holland wins that 78 final with Cruyff in their lineup. Did not know why Cruyff decided not
to go to the 78 World Cup until I read about this.
