KD: Basketball is not about championships for him

Kevin Durant stated in a recent interview that after winning championships with GS, now, "

It's not about, you know, let's go get this championship. I appreciate that stuff and I want to win to experience that stuff, but it's not the end-all, be-all of why I play the game."

KD says for him, playing basketball is about seeing how good he can be.

sure does sound like he is a great teammate now doesn't it. A real "winning" player.

I wonder what guys like Bill Russell, Jordan and Brady think about this type of statement? i bet none of those guys would want a player like KD on their teams.

as if I needed another reason to dislike KD.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    Just when you think you can't possibly dislike him anymore, he lays this on us. Wow, what a selfish...I better leave this thread before I say something I might regret!

    KD is not anyone that I can say I respect as a player outside of his talent.
