My local coin club, the Glendale Coin Club, has now been meeting online on my YouTube channel for over a year. Though not the same as our in person meetings, the meetings have gone very well and we've been able to get some amazing speakers from all over the country. During each live meeting, we had nearly 100 people watching concurrently from all over the country (even some from other countries). And since the meetings, hundreds more have watched the replays of the meetings which is awesome.
All of our meetings since April 2020 are available on YouTube if you missed any of them and you can watch them back anytime.

We will be having a program which will be presented by Jeff Garrett on "Pricing Rare Coins in Today’s World." Mr. Garrett is a long time coin dealer and hobbyist with extensive expertise in Rare Coin values. He is currently Senior Editor of the Guide Book of US Coins (RED BOOK). He is a past ANA President, 2015-17, Member of the ANS Board and knowledgeable grader, evaluator and speaker on coins in general---his latest educational outreach program having been presented on this topic through the ANA eLearning Academy. He has also written & published several numismatic books. We are very lucky to have Jeff Garrett present to our club and special thanks to another past ANA President, Walt Ostromecki, for helping to book this program for our club.
To just watch the live meeting, you will be able to do so from just about any phone or computer. There will also be a live text chat window during the live video stream, but you will need to have a YouTube account to participate in that part. With that chat room, you will be able to talk to those of us who will be on screen, as well as ask questions to our guest speaker. You will also be able to chat with all of the others there in the chat too.
Please feel free to share this information and the link with anyone and everyone you think might enjoy hanging out and chatting about coins for an hour or two.
Finally, there will be a few coin giveaways during this meeting... including some of our new 2019 Glendale Coin Club medals which were recently done for us by Daniel Carr. To be eligible for the giveaways you must be logged into YouTube and participate in the live text chat; otherwise we won’t know you are there.
We will also have a short auction at the end of the meeting where we will auction off some coins, mostly silver bullion pieces, with all proceeds benefiting the club.
