Question on magnetic card holders

If one uses these for shipment to PSA for submitting cards does PSA return them with the graded cards? Or do they end up like all the Card Savers, in the trash?

I can't imagine PSA returns any holders.
Assuming they don't just return your cards when they open the box because you didn't follow instructions as listed on the PSA site, then NO, they will not be returning them to you. My guess is they immediately go in the trash during research & ID when someone would have to give you extra service by removing the cards from these holders and transferring them to a semi-rigid card holder so they can go through the grading process. I'm certain that graders don't touch anything other than a toploader or cardsaver like holder. More than likely, when anyone at PSA opens these things, the cards fall out and get damaged.
Agree with Rufuss. PSA clearly prefers Card Savers. They will toss your magnetics.
Place each item in a protective flexible pouch (Ex. Card Saver). The flexible pouch you choose must be sturdy enough to allow us to remove the item safely. If you do not know where to purchase flexible plastic pouches, you can always order them through PSA.
For the protection of your items, you may want to insert your cards/tickets into a soft card sleeve or mylar before inserting
into the Card Saver.
PSA advises against submitting items in hard acrylic snap cases, top loaders or screw down holders.
Items received in these cases will be automatically removed and placed in Card Savers by PSA.
do not ship in magnetic holders.
1.) its well known they can damage cards during shipping, even ebay sellers know not to do this (usually)
2.) you won't get it back
3.) chrome cards can be scuffed in them easily from movement
always use card savers with penny sleeves. if the card is a factory sealed mag, remove It yourself and load into a card saver. top loaders are accepted, but should also be last resort.
side note, who would want to submit even 10 cards in mags? heavy and bulky = more expensive to ship and less protection. for me its groups of cards in card savers and in graded card sleeves to prevent dust from entering into them in groups of 5-10, properly labeled in order.
