Help ID this coin / token please

Hi - can anyone please help ID this coin / token - purchased several years ago from a street market in Jalon in the Valencian region of Spain - - I think it could be a Spanish civil war item as I have seen similar varieties in Cuhaj World Coins 1901 - 2000.

    My only guess is that this item is related to Barcelona in some way (the cross inside the diamond is the part of coat of arms of the province of Barcelona). It is doubtful that this could be a payment token, since the denomination and issuer are not indicated on it.

    Maybe a sword check token? I'm sure there was a sword armory. Peace Roy
