Planning to go on Saturday, myself. Looking forward to it, been too long since I could attend a show. Anyone else going?

Made my way up to Manchester NH for the last day yesterday morning, my first show in well over a year. I felt pretty comfortable attending — two doses in my arm and general good behavior and spacing were reassuring. There were 75 dealers at least, and attendance seemed ok considering the strange times we still live in and the 75-degree-plus sunny day outside.

Greatly enjoyed meeting Gene/1960NYGiants who was adjacent to the tables of Justin of Boardwalk Numismatics. After talking coins for half-an-hour I picked up these two items from the latter:

This coin has its share of honest wear but it’s now my oldest English crown and I welcome it.

Not content with one big hunk of 1600s silver I added this one — always admired these.

Said hellos to Jfoot, all the way from Pittsburgh, who had a lot of material and a fair number of customers at his several tables. Blew the bulk of my remaining budget on a light side item (shame on me) before saddling up before some gorgeous ancient material from Nick (Pegasi Numismatics). My Roman Emperor portrait set had hit a dead end, with only the very pricey ones dangling out of reach (for now). But before me lay the opportunity to start an “Instant Empress” collection of twelve different ones! Nick was informative and let the group go on what I felt were very kind terms. Here they are:

Felt VERY good to get back in the game after a long layoff!
