Can I give a partial refund with managed payments like I always have with Paypal ?

If so, I sure can't find a way to do it.
As much as I have always liked ebay, I dislike them immensely at the same time........

Oh OK, scratch this. I just found a link in the drop-down on the sales page.
    Thank goodness..............

I was just going to send you there. I'm not sure why it's in the other drop-down menu, but you can do it.

No one likes change. But I really like MP. I haven't missed PayPal at all. Payments have been prompt. The fees are cheaper. And I find it easier to have everything in one place.

While we're at it, how does one cancel a shipping label purchased under ebay managed payments?

I purchased a first class label, and at the time of purchase it said for 1-16 ozs but when I printed it it said "1 oz."

Ironically, the things I miss most are on eBay's side. Specifically, it's a lot more clicks to get from an item page to the payment/transaction details, and if you just go to the transaction/order list, each order has only one item title showing, so you can't reliably do a simple text search for the item title. The biggest plus for me (costs aside) has been that my CPA (aka my mom) bought off on me just recording the lump sum payments eBay sends me as my net income (using the downloadable report at the end of the year to break out various fees) where with PayPal every transaction was a separate entry of income and a PayPal fee. This has made bookkeeping a lot easier.

From any of the Orders pages or from your Selling Hub, find the Shipping Labels link on the left hand side. On the Shipping Labels page, find the transaction in question and click the drop down menu at the right side. There should be a Void Label button there.

If you are trying to void an eBay Standard International Shipping label that you have printed, just don't use the label (do nothing). You are not charged for those labels until they are used. If you print a duplicate in error, just rip the duplicate up (I asked eBay about this exact situation & got a female eBay concierge in London who was so pleasant with a stunning husky accent that I wanted to book a ticket across the pond immediately.).

Awhile back I spoke with a lady with a lovely accent from down under. Are you sure she wasn't down under as I had the same thoughts! >:)

She definitely self-identified herself as being from London. In fact she had to call me back because she didn't know the answer right off as is was about a U.S. (DHL) label situation - she was from eBay-Great Britain and was just handling overflow calls. I didn't mind the call back at all (and memories of many pleasurable trips to London came cascading back).

It's going to depend on what the 1099 looks like. [Believe me, I know. This happened to me.] If the 1099 shows only net income, you don't have a problem. But if, as for PayPal, the 1099 shows total $s with fees etc included, then you have to report this number on your taxes or the IRS will notice the difference.

The advantage in the eBay spreadsheet report is that they put everything on one line with specific columns for fees, taxes, etc. Frigging PayPal turned everything into a separate line.

But that's my point. With PayPal, you got everything one transaction at a time, so you had to record each transaction in Quickbooks or wherever you track account activity. With eBay, you can just record the lump sum (it's the only thing that hits your bank) and then go to the spreadsheet for the details. A few formulas on the spreadsheet are enough to get anything you'll need unless the 1099 is amazingly hosed.
