PSA ends submissions until July(except high dollar). SGC triples their prices the next day. So far, no word from Beckett, but read somewhere that they will cease submissions next week.

heard bgs was already 9 months behind and had ceased any time of commitment months prior. meaning bulk could take 18+ months and that some folks subs were already hitting a years timespan.

Correct. I've been reading 12+ months wait now. People were still sending in $12 a card subs in February before it went to $20. They need to do something and fast.

This is what I'm going to miss. I'm glad I got this order in right before the price increase and submission freeze. I also have a 20 card order that arrived in November. I doubt the prices will ever go back down, and cards in this value range aren't worth submitting for more than $12. These cards are all for my PC. I like collecting graded cards, and many of these (especially the Nomars) have extremely low pops - mainly because they just weren't widely submitted. I examined each card and all are at least 9 worthy IMO. I even peeled the film off a few of the refractors because I like the shine of the cards and I want a pristine surface for grading. Several of these were BGS crack-outs of 9's with strong subs. I'm hoping to get a few 10's to offset the 7's and 8's I'm sure I'll also get.

People say this is shut down until July. I thought I read hat their going to re-instate service levels as time and backlog permits. I’d guess we’re going to see this open back up in tiers, and and then decide the proper course of action base on how many orders they get as the re-instate each service level.
You can’t just say “oh it’s ALL down until July 1’st and then we’re going to open this all back up at once.” If they do that it’s going to put them in the same situation as now. They’ll get 3-5 months worth of cards in a week. I think there’s potential for certain levels to be postponed past July 1st based on the amount they get when they re open these levels. IMHO.
