1995 France L'Alhambra 100 Francs 15 Ecus. I really like the depth of this coin. The scratches are on the airtite plastic and not on the coin.

Why no likes? Possibly because it is just another recent "made for collectors" coin. Also, what does the Alhambra have to do with France? I thought it was in Spain.

I understand that, but the design itself is at least interesting depth perception wise to me.

The coin manages to capture a dimension of an otherworldly-stunning place. The disconnection from France does somehow make it feel less organically genuine. But I speak as someone who bought one of these because it is attractive. (As an aside, I will be lucky enough to visit the Alhambra next month, after a 35 year absence - so excited!)
