Will you buy a graded card from e-bay without a pic of the back?

I'll buy a graded card from e-bay from without back pic for $20, but a seller has a PSA graded card I want for around $300 with no pic of the back. I messaged him for a pic, and of course no reply and no pic. I can't justify buying a card of that value without seeing a pic of the back. Thoughts?

I'd only consider it if the price was substantially lower than comps, and I would assume that the back is wack and just hope to be surprised when I get it. What is the PSA grade of the card you are looking at? The higher grades except for 10's require 90/10 centering on the back.
Also, if the seller has a large amount of items for sale at the same time, it just might be too hard to grab the item to take a picture.... imagine if it was Probstien, he'd have to pull it from the warehouse.
The seller has 220 items for sale, so maybe they have a small e-bay store, but I assume they could easily access their cards if they wanted to. The card is graded an 8, and they do have a best offer on it, however, it is driving me crazy that they wouldn't take a back pic of a $300 card. Also, the price is about the same as the comps.
sure, if its by far the card you want. the back is likely fine and a minor factor in card quality. and if there's something outrageous about it, return it. $300 to some is a lot, to others they're not doubling their work per card to take back scans.
I need to see the back.
Not much of a bother to add a pic IF the back is ok....
I always ask for a pic of the back if it’s not posted. Sometimes ignored, and sometimes I get “the back is clean” response. I don’t buy in those cases. If you only show me half the card, then I want half the price.
Back scans are nice but not a deal breaker for me.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
i just ask if they are willing to take half the price since i can only see half the card.
fun cards, i don't really care though.
a serious card, i'll just ask if there isn't one. if they skirt, then i know all i need to know.
Sellers that won't take the time to send additional/better pics in general are a red flag for me.
But to answer your question directly - I do buy cards without seeing the back. More bad habit than anything - I tend to assume the back is "good enough".
I ask for a photo of the back. I don't buy any cards unless I see the back.
Yes. The backside doesn't bother me. I'm more of a full frontal view person
As I said on another thread, don't buy on eBay until you're satisfied with the price you're paying if you get what is pictured. If the pictures are angled, or blurry, or only showing one side, then don't buy unless you decide the parts you can't clearly see don't matter.
If it's just a $300 card, chances are it is common enough that you can wait a day or a week or a month for one to come along that you can be sure you'll be satisfied with.
No back scan, me no buy.
Period.
$20.00 yes. On more expensive cards prolly not unless it's a hard card to get in that particular grade and then I am going to assume there's some problem with the back.
Scan the damn back !
Hate that..
I have purchased graded cards without seeing the back if the price is right. Sometimes back is great sometimes on the lower end of the grading standard but I sort of expect that going in. I think some sellers don’t even think about the reverse. It’s the front that’s important.
However if I send a message and do not receive a response, for me, I refuse to purchase, irreguardless of price, condition or nothing.
