Question about selling on eBay

I know how to sell on eBay just never cards. I was thinking about selling my 84 usfl set Would it be wise to say a 84 usfl Reggie white in psa 10 sold for $23,700 and write I'm not psa just given an example. I'm still opening up to the buyer thinking he/she will get a 10?

As they say, don't let your mouth write a check that your @ss can't cash.... You can't guarantee in any way what you are selling would grade. Let the item sell itself. Sure you could mention what a PSA 10 sold for, but it's really just fluffy nonsense, and whomever is really interested probably knows that. I can't imagine that random, uneducated (card-wise) joe blow is going to stumble onto a USFL card listing.

I would do a search for completed listings, see which ones sold for a lot and look at what those listings said.

Look for recent completed sales of your same item. Check out the different titles and descriptions. Borrow the phrases you like the most and that seem to work the best. Be truthful or you exponentially increase the odds of a return.
