Trip Down memory Lane Pittsburgh Maulers

Just wondered if people remember the pro football team Pittsburgh Maulers in the USFL league
. This schedule card is from their 1984 league schedule. The league never lasted very long.

    Yes he won the Heisman Trophy winner from college days and Rozier was first pick in the USFL draft. To bad the USFL was such a short lived league. Also Sam Clancy who went to University of Pittsburgh played for Maulers and later played for a number of NFL teams as did Rozier. It was nice to see some of the players getting an opportunity to play in the NFL after the league no longer existed. I was cleaning out some drawers and spotted the schedule card nor realizing I had kept it since 1984. I guess that card reminds me I'm an old timer.
