Toploaders or card savers?

Does anyone store their raw expensive cards in card savers only or it is better protection if you put them in top loaders with penny sleeves. I am always sorting through them so I Handle them a lot. All of my cards are in top loaders now but. Always liked the way they look just n card savers. I don’t want to move them to card savers f they will get less protection. The cards I was looking at moving to the top loaders are my 53, 54, 56 Jackie Robinson’s and my 54 ted Williams. All are in very good to excellent condition now.

CS1s only for keepers, they file much more nicely with graded in the graded boxes.

No worries about CS1 pressure on the card?

Zero, unless thick cards where they go in CS4s and get stored separately.

I switched all my cards I want to keep to CS1 with a team bag. I keep them all in a graded card box. I do have to Be sure to alternate the flap on the team bags from top and bottom. They store so much nicer this way.
It’s been hard to find enough CS1 as I’ve gone through 3000 of them so far.

i've been using these. they've been a pretty good alternative. price is right & ship quick.

pros: in stock, if you create a cart and abandon it after you've entered your info, it will send you an email to "complete check out" w 10% discount. there is also discounts for qty, free shipping & no sales tax.

con: ordered a couple of the 2000ct cases. 1 box, not a full case, the semi's seemed to split real easy down the side. didn't really care, was subbing w them and wasn't that bad to worry about the card sliding out or anything.

I started using penny sleeves and top loaders as a kid. never moved away from them. I don't think there is a wrong answer though. personal preference.

I feel like my card savers are prone to surface damage and they end up not presenting well. I only use card savers for the “maybe psa” pile.
