$1 bill with lines. Error?

Hi all,
I received a couple of $1 bill from change and one of the bill looks weird. It has these green lines running across the bill.

Is this an error?

Thanks in advance!

No, horizontal lines look like they might have been acquired passing through counting machines.

Wet ink smears are the ones really considered errors. This is more along the lines of dirt or soiling.

Sorry for the bad news. It IS worth looking. Minor errors can be found with some frequency and an occasional major error will turn up, especially with new notes. Ink smears are among the errors that you can actually find from time to time.
