Would you crack and re-sub this card?

I bought this in last week’s Sirius Sports Auction, for $3. My sole intention was to get it cheap, crack it, and sub it to PSA. It’s clearly not a 10 because it has centering issues and I have no clue what the back looks like. If it could get a PSA 9 I think it’s worth it. Was planning to just sub it with a value modern $20 sub. Opinions greatly appreciated. Like I said only cost me $3 so if I just use it to start a fire 30 years from now that’s ok so even harsh criticism is welcome.

    First off, it is graded a 9 as it is Mint or better, not Gem Mint or better. I'm surprised an auction house wouldn't show a pic of the back, that's very Probstein of them! But unless there is rear corner issues, I'm sure it will be fine. Actually looks very well centered, don't forget that you need to include the number in your analysis. I'd like to think you'd get $20 if it grades an 8, so I think it's worth taking a flyer on it. Let us know next year how it works out!

    does a psa 8 sell for $30? if so, it's worth a shot.

    i don't think anything '87 bonds esp opc is gonna tank anytime soon plus the upside of a potential 9 or the 8 increasing is worth the money of breaking even.

    APR has an 8 selling for $25 25 months ago. Only three sold (all 10s) all last year. I'd take a flyer on a bulk sub.
