Fury vs Joshua - It's on

After months of bickering, arguing, and verbal insults back and forth, the biggest possible fight in boxing is finally going to happen. A unification fight for the world heavyweight championship between WBC champion Tyson Fury and IBF, WBA, WBO champion Anthony Joshua is going to happen. The two sides finally came to an agreement and both parties signed a contract for a two fight deal. The first fight is slated to take place in June or July 2021 and the rematch in November or December. The location is the only thing yet to be decided. This is for all the marbles, whoever wins this will be the undisputed Heavyweight king. I've been following this for months, and this is one fight I am going to pay to see. The boxing world has been waiting for these two to lock horns and it's finally going to happen. I know most of you guys don't really follow boxing too closely, but I just can't help it, I must tell the world! This collision is going to be fun, and the mind games between these two is going to be fun to watch in the coming months. I will be updating this thread as the saga unfolds. This is for all the marbles, a unification for undisputed king of the world!

this is good news. I would be so excited if it was not on PPV. I love the combat sports, but just will not pay $50+ to watch a night of fights.

I wish a group would come in and truly unify the sport under one umbrella and become a negotiating arm to get boxing on network again.

I really believe the sport could be exponentially bigger if something like that were to happen. people may start talking boxing around the water cooler again

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I can't wait for this fight, it's been building up a long time, there's been a lot of trash talking back and forth, both guys have been posting training videos. The two best heavyweights are finally going to collide and I love it!
