O-pee-chee Hockey-would anyone happen to know what year this is ?

Any idea what this is? i presume it is o-pee-chee hockey cards. but what year?
Found in my basement.

    Is it 1981? case #8135. It's Hockey as it has Hockey on the box.

    That is an 89OPC cut card case. Probably 8,000 a 9,000 cards.

    thank you. i didnt want to open the case. was hoping it was a 1979 unopened case.
