What would you do ? (need advice)

I have a 1986-7 Jordan rookie sticker. With the runup of Jordan cards lately I thought about selling it. It's currently a PSA 7 (st). I'm not really afraid of cracking it out and trying the pantyhose on the back, but wondering if it's worth it. If I sell it now, does (st) qualifier scare people away? If I crack it and rub pantyhose on back, is it still a 7 if I send it back, and what service level should I send it in at. I want to get it back in time to sell while Jordan' still red-hot.

i hate qualifiers. they've been extremely harsh on grades lately though. add in the fact that the stain isn't guaranteed to rub off coupled with double the cost to get it done w no guarantee you come out ahead either, i'd say it's a coin toss. and with those odds, i'd prolly just let it be.

The grade won't increase after you remove the wax, as it will still be a PSA 7 with right corners on the back and the centering. You would just lose the qualifier...... and maybe a grade, you never know.

Thanks! I didn't think it might go up, I just was hoping you didn't think it might go down. I really was hoping I might end up with a regular 7, but not going to take the risk. Thanks again!

With the back right corners especially, I wouldn't touch a thing and keep it in the current holder.

I’d get it sold. The weather is warming up, the last dance is getting further and further in the rearview mirror, people are going to be out and about soon enough.
