First purchase for new direction

Been a void in my collecting interest.
After pondering for awhile, decided to stay focused on exonumia from my home state of South Carolina.
First purchase is a rather large one for the budget, details condition, but a big one in terms of scarcity.
Two varieties of this token. This one is brass (?) with maybe ten of each variety in existence.
Now got to find the copper variety with an eye to upgrades.
