I acquired a few Kobe rookies back in 1996-97. This one was in my fire safe and others I have in a safe deposit box. I would like to get it graded but wanted to see how safe it is to send off. Thanks for any feedback

Looks great, but a 10 is never a guarantee and the price difference between a 10 and 9 is so great, that even sending it in at $100 or $150 is gonna suck if it doesn't get at least a 9 (which I think it should, though we haven't see the back)
OK. Will post the back when I get home today. I forgot all about that.
Look the surfaces over for scratches, indentations, or other imperfections. Those chrome cards attract scratches like crazy.
I do not see any scratches . It has been in the same plastic holder since 1997. I don’t think, until yesterday, that I had ever physically touched it.
What would be a ballpark figure on a PSA 9 or 10? I appreciate you all
Right now it’s about 750 in 9 and 4000 in 10. If I were subbing it, it would be in a value sub with an estimated value of an 8 (300ish), and let them up charge if it hit a 10. Then I’d sit back and forget about it for a year.
Or you could sell it raw for $400 right now. If the card only gets an 8, you'd be ahead selling raw. But the chance for a 10 is alluring.
