UK Penny Worth Something?

I bought this past weekend a box, with several coins on it, in there was 25 of these coins, some samples shown below:


All in that condition, some maybe in better condition.

Anyone here collect these? that can have more info?

    They look better than most other mixed lots of Victoria copper that I have seen. Someone will like them.

    Those are referred to as "bun" pennies, because Queen Victoria's hair was pulled up into a bun. Incredibly they got about a hundred years worth of use, but yours maybe a bit less because they are in a wee bit better shape than the worn out examples getting yanked from circulation in the late 1960's.

    Thanks a lot, first time for me to have them at hand, these are just an extra, a place I go often, they only sell new silver bullion, and they got a box with several coins, 6 were from Cuba (silver), many other silver coins, some I posted on another topic here. Was more curios about these, again thanks.
