3 Wax Pack Tray or Rack?

Is a Tray with three wax packs preferable over three pack wax rack? Or are they the same, assuming unopened and BBCE wrapped?

Are you talking specifically about 1980 baseball? Because I think that is the only year where both of those products exist.

I guess the main difference is you can see the back of the packs for the wax rack.

Yes 1980 baseball, thanks. I just did not know if there was big difference.

Trays for sure. You can see the backs of packs in a wax rack but not in a wax tray. In that sense, wax trays are essentially FASC as the packs are truly unsearched because star cards are typically face out on back of 1980 wax packs.

Are trays the best source for pack grading? Seems like they would be.
