Safety of old coin albums

I have a few "Library of Congress" coin albums from 1959 (volumes 13 and 26 specifically). They seem nice and have plastic slide-in covers for both sides of the coins (like my modern Dansco albums). I can't find anywhere if the plastic is PVC-based so I don't know if they are safe to use. I have the same problem with an old Whitman quarter album from 1960. I can't find what type of plastic is used for the slides. Does anyone have any insight on if these are safe to use? (Thanks for any answers - this is my first post to this forum.)

Welcome to the forum!
The plastic used in the slides isn't PVC-based so you should be fine.
I think you mean Library of Coins.
those slides are ok
Thank you all for the answers. ...And yes - library of coins, not library of congress... I have a relative who works at the Library of Congress in DC so it just comes out.
