Found a few Rickeys... what level would you use?

I went through a box with a few 1980 & 81 sets and came across these three. One looks pretty good, but not perfect. The other two are nice but not particularly well centered. Would you submit as though they are two 7’s and an 8? Thanks.

Nice finds Mike. I'm not positive of the financial threshold for each service level offhand, but I would value these at $200 each (or $199 if $200 bumps you to the next level) and let PSA do any re-figuring if need be.
WTH???!!! Those are really nice, especially the latter two. I don't think Henderson is going to go down in price any time soon, so I would go with patience if you can tolerate it. In other words, the cheaper option. I think you are in the proverbial "win/win" situation no matter!
SWEET!
That middle one is a beauty, Mike!

I would not have the patience to run that middle one through on the service levels that are bogged down like Napoleon in Russia. Regular at $50 would at least see a springtime reveal and not kill any ROI if you want to let it go. Me, I'd keep it and see what the other 2 bring in the late fall when they come back from Moscow,
Looks like 2 7's and a 8 to me. The back of the middle one drops it down from a 9. Who knows what the costs will be come Monday, but based on today, you are looking at $50 each or $25 through a bulk subber. Otherwise Value sub them and wait a year!
Unless it's a PSA 9 and it better be spot-on with everything checking the boxes on PSA 9 , don't waste any money above bulk rate.
Middle one looks good but make sure those corners are not soft as I seem to see fuzz on 2.
A lot of 1980 Hendus also get hammered on surface issues, so pay attention to the surface as much as the corners .
And like that other person said he wouldn't have the patience. Not only would I have the patience, I just don't like letting money go for no reason at all. Unless it's an absolute 100% sure bet , that something is spot-on , exactly right where I know that money will be recouped within 30 days of getting the card back, I bulk rate it. I then tie at least one of my hands down so I don't keep clicking computers.
And I look at other things for the next six to eight months. Luckily I have enough cards in my PC to never look back at anything at all.
My opinion as always
Jeff
I guess I’ll go cheap and hope for an upcharge. No rush, am sure they have been in the box for years already. Thanks guys.

The back centering might not hurt you. PSA doesn't seem to look to closely at the backs. A 9 is not out of the question if the front is nice enough. Corners and surface on front will be the determining factors imo.
Good luck, that's a beauty!
WTH???!!! Those are really nice, especially the latter two.
Bobby - I think the nice Henderson stayed raw all these years because it came in a 1980 set that I bought on ebay where the seller had alphabetized every card in the set - same with an 81 set. I think that annoyed me enough to toss them in the closet for a decade!

Arrange them by player's height and sell them back to him, that'll teach him a lesson.
That middle one looks like an 8 to. All 3 are nice finds. I like the box name “alpha” order. But I take It differently and say first card is Rickey, then Baines, then Nolan. Lol. Alpha, like who’s the alpha dog. 😂

I’ve never heard of such a thing. Please tell me these we’re alphabetized under “R” than “H” because that somehow makes me feel better.
