Size does matter in this case.
That's my thought.
No time for a new one ?
No ding insight.
What do you think? Found in pocket change today.

Overused die. Orange peel effect. Often seen on nickels in the 1980s.

I gotta say you have a flair for creative descriptors of your coins. Maybe you should get a job at an auction house? And I’m actually being serious...

Anyway, it is very common and you’ll see it on dimes and quarters as well.

And locating examples without that telltail Orange peel effect, is something a lot of folk haven't caught on to.....all the way to the top.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

I'm half temped to pull the photos that are posted, but I'm afraid that might come back and kick me in the butt, so to speak. Is that allowed and commonly done?
I have tried to enhance for other determinations, as long as the poster is aware due to the new copy of his photo then I delete all photos from my PC.
I have a good memory but my pc always wins.
Also to answer your suggestion, (TY) first I want to understand and then apply what I've learned.
    Hope that made sense?
