a couple (confirmed) fake cob 8 Reales

Harasha's post gave me the push to point out a couple recently appearing fakes that I was debating posting...

As always, keep in mind that cobs were hand-struck (hammered) on hand-cut planchets... Thus, when you find multiple examples with EXACTLY the same (or at least reasonably exact) imprinting of detail on exactly the same shape planchet (or close - an easy trick is to slightly alter the shape to throw the optics off), you almost certainly have twin fakes.

Of course, having two or more examples conveniently laid out side-by-side is cheating on the test, but it can help you to learn what signs to look for.
