    Checked the packs.
Confirmed a Bird on back of 1 and a Magic on back of another.

Have 3 packs with Bulls played on top but struggling to see who the player is....

look for the ball going thru the net at the top

Thanks. Doesn’t appear to be MJs. Found a Rodman on back of another but that’s nothing special, right?

  • balco758balco758 Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭✭✭

    After 5 packs.

MJ appears. Not too bad. Def not a 10.

    Nice Jordan PSA 9?

  • blurryfaceblurryface Posts: 5,136 ✭✭✭✭✭

every once in a while they'll be an all star card visible on the front. i'd save those as well. even tom chambers.

Not sure on MJ. Prob an 8 with my luck.

The left side Admiral looks nice. Hardaway and Vlad’s too.

Have to check back of packs for these 3 too

Robinson on the left looks like a 10. Maybe left Divac as well.

the kemp cards are getting close to $300 right now too, btw.

  • balco758balco758 Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭✭✭

Thanks King! Also found this Hardaway.

  • balco758balco758 Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭✭✭

Well well. A Sean Kemp on the front of a pack. Now the box has gotten rather interesting.

    Some nice stuff so far!!

  • TheGoonies1985TheGoonies1985 Posts: 5,485 ✭✭✭✭✭

Gotta be a 9 at least on that Jordan.

Pulled a 3rd MJ. And last pack pulled the MJ All star. Big time OC but still nice to get it.

Here is a pic of the 4. Top right looks the best. I would love a 9 and (2) 8’s. All star card isn’t worth grading for an 8 OC.

2 and #3 look very nice!! Congrats!!

Awesome and congrats on the rip!

Conundrum - Loving my unopened baseball card collection....but really like ripping too

boxes like these are prime candidates for ripping, imo.

    price point is fairly low.
you're never gonna lose big. if ever really.
at least 2 pack showing stars/rcs per box given low number of cards in the set.
    even if all 3 base jordan's 9, you're even.
    get a 10 and it's a 4 run shot..
then throw in the stuff like the jordan sticker, admiral, hardaway rcs etc.
plus there's still mounds of it out there. zero guilt or risk that comes w ripping, oh let's just say, a 1972 opc wax box.

factor in the fun for the soul of ripping a 30 year old box and it really is a no brainer at these price points.

I opened two boxes of 90-91 Fleers a few weeks ago. Had very similar results. One Jordan I am pretty hopeful on for a 10. Those all stars are really hard to get centered.

Is there a PD on the red border outlining the word "Jordan" about halfway between the left edge and the box that says "Guard"? Same place on all three, or I'm seeing something.

The same exact thing on three and you think you may be seeing something? Seriously now.

See something on enough cards (Yount puddle?) and you begin to wonder if it is intentional.

I have always been fond of the All Star cards, love the coloring!

    Damn.

Well, those are indeed dots on all 3. PD? Probably so, especially they way they are probably reviewing Jordan cards.

    Still worth trying I guess

I've seen Fleer Jordans with those get 10's. I wouldn't worry assuming one was worthy of a 10 outside of that little common fisheye.

FASC is definitely the way to go if you're ripping this product. I ripped a JUMBO box of this stuff back in January 2020 when you could buy it for $25 (NOT BBCE wrapped). I pulled about 8 of every card, but only ONE Jordan. Pretty sure the collation was still very predictable in 1990, so the Jordan packs were obviously replaced at some point. Still a fun rip!

And with the other card values in this set on the rise, it is still well worth your money. As long as you got it before the prices skyrocketed.

I always found the all star cards pleasing to look at.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Still not sure $350 prices are too bad.

have a bunch i bought dirt cheap years ago. not that i ever thought it would be fathomable, but i wouldn't let the boxes go for less than $500 when considering my previous post.
