Weather package limbo

I try not to be too uptight but I am a person that tends to sweat the details. Last week my area of the country was on complete lockdown due to a freeze / snowstorm the likes we have never seen. Mail service was completely shutdown until today. All of that being said. I made a very large for me purchase from another collector I have dealt with several times. Original delivery date was 2/17. My main concern is with the backlog they must have how long do I go without seeing an updated location scan before I start to worry?

I'm in the opposite situation, waiting for one to come from your area. I've giving it at least an extra week before I fly over there and bang on @galaxy27 's door.

I know in person they are able to give me a more accurate update on tracking and last known location. this year it has been way more precise than their online tracking. Also I received today, first class items from ebay with tracking that were mailed on the 8th from NC to OH.

Feel your pain to a lesser extent. Not sure what the weather’s been like in Wisconsin, but made a relatively medium sized purchase a couple weeks ago from Fritsch, shipped 2/16, and no scans at all since departure, just “in transit and arriving late.” I know it’s only a week, but don’t remember encountering it before, and there’s a pang or two of restlessness.

Guessing the OP's issues got sorted out? Just based on the monthly pickups thread ;)

I sent 5 packages out on 02/16 and still no movement outside of the local processing center in Merrifield, Va.

The package I was concerned hit my local P.O. at 3:00 pm. I ran up there and got it
