As we all know, a lot of card photos were taken in NY, and as a result, Mets and Yankees tend to show up often as opposing players. I feel like I’ve seen a ton of “Munson in the Background” cards over the years, but never all in the same place. So post any you are aware of. I’ll start things off...

This should count! Lol.
wasn't there a 75 sspc card w him floating around somewhere?
@balco758 That is one of the nicer 8s I have seen. Like all 71s, a lot of the old flip 8s look like crap. Your 8 looks like a nicer version of my 7....
I don’t remember that, but I never really studied the SSPCs.....
Thanks PaulMaul. Top right smudge may hold it back. You can’t see it on the pic.
72 yaz in action? munsons in action is pretty clean cut pic.
Good catch! 👍🏻
Do we think this is him?
Not sure. Could also be John Ellis.
I think Ellis was primarily playing 1B in 1970 and 1971 with Jake Gibbs the main Munson backup. Ellis was the backup catcher in ‘72 after Gibbs retired.
