1973 Topps Mike Schmidt crossover

I am hoping for a 7. I am just wondering what the chances are that this crosses over as a 7. Thanks.

Love the old BVG with subgrades. They were very strict back then. That card looks like a strong PSA 7, however PSA is tougher on crossovers than on regular submissions.
It is a risk, but the only way that a card can get an unbiased grade is by cracking it out and submitting it raw.
I thought about that too. I get a little nervous about breaking them out but I’ve had more luck sending them in that way. They seem to automatically take off a half a point on crossovers.
I don't agree with that. I do it just because I don't want any preconceived notions in the determination of what the grade should be.
I think you will get a 6 either way. Back edges have too much white and O/C on the front.
