...... which of them have worse overall health?

In other words which sport chews up its players more?

I don’t know enough about Rugby but they don’t have the pads that NFL players do but I don’t think they have high speed collisions like the NFL so I’m going with..... NFL!

Perhaps counterintuitive, but the NFL could be made a lot safer without helmets/pads (and perhaps get to an 82 game season). So I'm going to guess the NFL chews up it's players more.

The collisions in the NFL are often at full speed, and very violent. You won't see stuff like this in rugby.

i dont know anything about rugby, but I cannot imagine anything more violent than some of the tackles over the middle I have seen. they hurt me right through the tv screen.

remember the mo lewis hit on drew bledsoe? it dislodged a blood vessel in his chest and he nearly bled out into his chest cavity before he made it to the hospital.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
