Shipped at the wrong address PSA

Hi all,

I am a new collector and I made a rookie mistake. I’ve sent my package at the wrong address at psa. I have sent it to the address for UPS/ fed ex ground but with USPS. The package has been delivered on January 25th according to the usps tracking tool. However, it has not been scanned yet. I am very stressed right now... I am pretty sure that I am not the first one to make that mistake. I need to be reassure. I Try to contact the customer service but i am nerver able to get the line. Did I lose my cards forever?

Thanks!

  • No, 43. So, I guess I am ok. However, is it normal that my package has not been scanned yet. On the website, it says between 3-5 days... thanks!

It is currently taking weeks for PSA to scan cards into their system.

You can use the "Find My Package" page to see if they've received the package but not scanned it in yet: https://www.psacard.com/myaccount/packagefinder. I've always checked it to put my mind at ease until it gets scanned.

It is taking 3-5 days for submissions to be scanned in as accepted on your Orders page. At that point, you can also use the Find My package link to confirm your package has arrived safely but you will also get an email, too.

My guess is that they have the different addresses so that For USPS and FedEx Express they don't have the packages in the hands of delivery drivers where things can happen to the packages or items get delivered to the wrong place or stolen by someone hitting the truck.

UPS and Fedex Ground get delivered directly because the depots that would eliminate that risk are all the way in far East LA/Ontario area I think.

  • Yes. I have use the find my package tool but It has not been scanned yet and the package was delivered on January 25th. Should I worry as they say that the package should be scanned in 3-5 days after delivery?

Maybe try calling them and explain the situation? If they don’t have a good explanation, then I’d start worrying ;). I’m sure it’s ok, just a non-standard delivery that might be handled through some longer exception process...

I would reach out to customer service as it should have been scanned in by now. That scan should only take a few days as opposed to the sub being "entered" or "logged in," which typically takes a lot longer.

  • How did this end up going? Unfortunately I made the same mistake, and am waiting for the package to show up in their system. The shipping instructions from PSA didn't specify couriers.

Not as bad as my 1st submission to PSA which ended up at a MPO in South Korea after transposing the 2nd and 3rd digits of the zip code! I never received the package back…a total loss!

    I ended up losing a 1955 Aaron, 1960 Yaz RC, 1960 McCovey RC, 1962 Maris, 1963 F.Robinson, 1965 Rose, 1967 Perez and a 1968 Ryan RC…all in PSA-8s for review!

I'm not sure I've ever read anything on the internet more sad than this. I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you.

I'm not sure I'd ever recover from losing those.

I was able to replace 6 out of 7 (not the 1962 Maris) with 5 out of 6 (not the 1960 Yaz RC) in a higher grade…
