Worth resubmitting this ‘86 Fleer Jordan?

Wondering if it is worthwhile to resubmit this 8 in the hopes of getting an 8.5 or 9. All of the 8s I’ve seen are worse off than this (though that doesn’t mean it will get an 8.5 or 9). With the gap in grades reaching tens of thousands I thought it might be worth a shot so wanted to get some opinions. Thanks.

Why not worth a shot. Nice card.

Come on. Do you really need to ask that? ANY Jordan ‘86 in ANY condition should automatically be graded!
sorry don't mind me, I'm just drooling over here. Beautiful card!
Tough call. I think it’s worthy of a higher grade, but your best shot would be to crack and resub. No way would I do that though, so maybe just see what happens with a review.
Are you selling? If not, then don’t bother.
Honestly, I would. It’s nicer than my 9.
Thanks. Should add that it is already a PSA 8 (label not pictured). The submission level for this card is likely the $1,000 leve which is steep especially if they are just going to say it is still an 8.
Here is my 9. Maybe it will motivate you to re-sub, but it’s an expensive crap shoot.
Absolutely, that card seems undergraded.
If it is the holder, it will probably not get a full bump to a 9. Mabe , Mabe an 8.5. So is it worth 1,000 to gamble an 8 vs. 8.5. if it was recently graded (the 8 will be lower than the nm/mt ) then it will not bump. I would not crack and re-submit. Pigs get fat. Hogs get slaughtered.
What style flip is it? You need to give us higher res corner closeup's and the right edge... and we need to see the back. I think it might be just too OC top to bottom for a 9, but 8.5 is possible, but that is basically like asking for a 10 in the 8 range. Because of the damage risk, I'd probably just take a flyer at $1000 for a review, assuming I don't see issues on the pics I just asked you for.
If only that were the question.
PSA 8.5: 5%
PSA 8: 90%
Other: 5%
Awesome card. Save your money.
PSA 9: 15%
PSA 8.5: 25%
PSA 8: 60%
Other 0%... I think there is 0% this is a 10 and if you send in for review they can't downgrade it, so if the back does not have any problems, send it in. Just my opinion as a person who has had great luck with reviews.
If you send in for review then can downgrade it. This came up last week.
I stand corrected. I should say that in my experience (literally hundreds), I've never had one down graded.
Not to beat a dead horse, but I just looked up the review option on this site and it states that you cannot lose the original grading and it can only go up or stay the same.
The centering is really nice (better than many 9s and probably a few 10s) so at least you have a high end 8. FWIW I sent my 8 for review a few years ago and yes they bumped it to a 9.
We’ve also theorized that PSA grades this card, let alone the entirety of ‘86 Fleer BK, with more scrutiny then in years past.
It’d be a $1000 gamble and that’s probably not going to change even if/when the market cools.
You can sell shares in the re sub cost in exchange for equity ownership on the bump value vig.
Now there is something we haven’t seen yet!
That PSA 8 looks better than a the PSA 9 above.
Thanks for the comments. Here are some closer pics. Think I might roll the dice if I’m ever in NJ or CA for the walk through service but will probably stay put for now. Sounds like cracking open is the way to go but I will surely need multiple pairs of underwear if I try that route.
