That is one good lookin' 52 Mantle! Easy over a mil for that one. Wonder where the Clemente 9 will end up? Over half a mil is my guess.

Wow. Goldin auctions will do millions and his company gets an investment of 40 million.

Good time to be in the card selling business it seems.

At this point, I'll only be surprised if all the notable cards don't set records.

Anyone catch the final price of the '55 Clemente PSA 9? Last I saw it was at $900k.

I predicted the site would crash. And I was right.

Dude has a ridiculous amount of swagger for running a company that can’t seem to run an auction without some type of glitch.

considering the relatively easy fix of stopping a server from crashing, the number of times it's happened, the timing and the "record" sales, it also seems like it could be a prime opportunity for "technical support" to have to delve into the system to fix. and maybe just happen to observe maximum bids while they are in there...just saying.

using software from 2003 after 40 million dollar infusion seem pretty weird to anyone else?

can't seem to recall this scenario repeatedly happening to any other auction house, ever.

In addition, if I were Ken I would stop taking shots at ebay and predictions how they are going to take over ebay until he got his own house in order. Sure ebay isn’t perfect but it sure as heck doesn’t go down.

His swagger and overinflated sense of self worth makes him look foolish until he can figure out his own server issues.

    It's probably only a matter of time. B = M

This just demonstrates how mickey mouse the industry is. This guy has a super shady past, gets 50MM, and can't keep his auction up. I get if there was a DOS attack or something but come on.

I’m getting text from uncles/friends asking me to look through there cards. All these million dollar sales are making people rethink the hobby. Even my old man who laughed at my spending on cards is collecting now.

it's almost daily (definitely weekly) of getting buddies text outta the blue or sending me craigslist link and ask me my thoughts...once you answer a question or two, that's when the flood gates open at all times day night.
