    Hmmm, Sure sounds like there is a bit of doubt as Yale does not strongly think, but believes. From what Andy posted it sounds like the collection was poorly managed. If I was the owner of those coins I would want solid proof they were indeed stolen from Yale.

    Indeed, although with conservative language such as theirs, I would be surprised if they were not able to photo-match to those once in the Yale collection.

    Ell, if there are any questions about who owns the coins, it is better to stay out so I think they did the right thing.
