I sent a small lot to 4SC Auctions to try it out. Mainly 1980's Hockey RCs. If there is interest, I can post the results.

I've heard good things thus far.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
They are a great company and have a huge customer base.
I buy a lot of my BIN cards from them. Never had a problem.
I was thinking of sending them some things for their introductory 5% consignment rate but I just read they need to receive them by tomorrow. Oh well, maybe they'll have a similar offer in the future.
Consignment auctions must be new for them.
I noticed more auctions popping up on their page.
Normally they were strictly BIN
Yes new service , I have bid on several items and as @emar noted never has a problem
2004 spx
1989 topps psa 10
1959 phillies
Phillies of the 70's
Curious which cards you sent.... I'm going to have a bunch of 80's hockey if PSA doesn't burn down!
Wonder what the normal consignment fee will be as 5% doesn't even cover expenses unless it's like a $10k card.
I too sent a small lot out. Good luck on yours
Actually I see the fees on the submission form on the website...

It's great to see more reputable options and more competition in the auction space. I certainly will be checking in.
I submitted 40 cards a few weeks ago to take advantage of the 5% consignment rate. Highlight was the 1987 Jordan PSA 9. Link below:

Yes, very happy with the hammer price.
I’ve sent in approximately 500 cards in the last 3 weeks or so and I haven’t had any problems at all. They reply to your e-mails on the same day and you get paid within 10 days. All around great service!
Agreed. It is fantastic to see. May I be a lone dissenter in one regard? If I were doing it...and, of course, I lack the clientele and willingness, I would strive to make a real splash in terms of consignment percentages. The numbers are so similar to PWCC, it may not get the traction it might otherwise. A simple, clean number would be best for the masses.
If they were 2-3% lower across the board--they would make an immediate splash that could possibly even motivate folks that typically don't consign to do so. The margins are absolutely there to afford collectors better prices while increasing market share.
Up to $100 15%
101-500 12%
500-1000 10%
1000-5000 8%
Over 5000 6%
Over 10k 0% and a free massage
ok...maybe the last one is a stretch...
Yes, I'm spending someone else's money, but our hobby is a cumulative creature of habit. If I'm an on-line auction store, I want to be that habit and I'll work extra hard and make less in the short term to be it!

I should note that I have bought in excess of 2000 cards from 4SC the last 20 years. Big fan.

I sent in 695 cards that should go live Thursday the 18th.
So far the communication is great.

The auctions started Thurs, so far 3 of the items are off to a very strong start. Competing with some PWCC auctions, so this should be a good head to head.
communication is absolutely terrible and have taken way too long to get back to me. attempted calling and left several messages that started last friday. unanswered. finally talk to them tues. when i called them. discuss certain scenarios as non-payment items, alternative start dates, etc
calls me wed and asked for an extensive list, was given to him via email instantly. w the 5% deal expiring and a full day passing, i had to call in an attempt to get the a-ok, left 2 messages, 3 email attempts. he finally emails me on late thurs afternoon (cards have to be there friday).
long story short, they didn't get back to me until i sent an email on thursday afternoon telling them to go pound sand and thanks but no thanks. mike finally responds saying he's trying to call me, what's my number? my number was on the top of each excel spreadsheet, left on several messages and he has called me previously asking for the spreadsheets.
i actually hope they read the board and see this. i assume he knows he dropped the ball bc there still hasn't been a reply. i'll take my 10k slabs elsewhere.
I'm debating on PWCC or 4SC.

I'm saddened by this. I don't know you, personally, but I've dealt with Mike. You seem like a really good guy. Give each other the benefit of the doubt and I hope it works out. Best of luck--I mean that.

not gonna lie, the 5% was a pretty big motivator. but when we are talking 7 figures worth of consignments over the course of the next 6 months, communication is absolutely key and way more important than saving an additional 3%. i'm looking for clear, concise communication w limited headaches. so far, only the opposite has transpired. feel free to pass along my feedback. i was pretty let down myself considering the size of their operation.
and i am sincerely glad everyone else's experiences have been pleasant. i am fully aware my situation is/was a little more complicated in nature.
