If you want to see quality basketball, with give and goes, and almost a Harlem globetrotters style of team basketball, then watch 19-0 Gonzaga play tonight. They are a joy to watch.
I don’t even like basketball. Never watch the NBA, and only turn on March madness towards the end. I can actually say that I hate basketball, but I can’t wait to see them play tonight.

I've heard about this Gonzaga team, I'll have to check them out.
I don't have ESPN2, but I truly appreciate the heads up. I love seeing this kind of post here.
So of course they look bad the night I boast about them, but they’re up 20-4 even when they’re not sharp.
I'll be watching Australian open
Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!

They're loaded. Other than West Virginia, Gonzaga has blown out all the quality opponents they've played. Not just the scrubs but teams like Iowa, Kansas, and Virginia. They have starters from other schools that are backups. They have a possible #1 overall NBA draft pick and multiple other NBA guys on the roster. They play fast, they play defense, and they are unselfish. And they can shoot.
They're really, really good.
They won 100-61. It was a 39 point shellacking. I wonder if they will be the first team to go unbeaten and win it all since the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers.
Great and fun team. Baylor and Michigan would be tough outs for the Zags in the tourney providing there is one. They both have suffocating defenses. There are others.
The Zags were great last year. They lost 2 games. One was to Michigan by 18. The Zags improved over last year. So has Michigan. Gonzaga doesn't have much left on their regular season schedule. They probably will go undefeated the rest of the way. Michigan and Baylor will have a few losses as they play in really tough conferences. That may help them both in the tourney.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Brings back memories of when Michigan faced an undefeated Indiana in Philly in 76. I talked last year with Rutgers second leading scorer in 76 when you faced them in the semi-final and he said no one was beating Indiana.
Yes I remember well. UCLA vs Indiana and Rutgers vs Michigan.
I think Rutgers was undefeated as well. They had Eddie Jordan and Phil Sellers. Michigan had Phil Hubbard and Rickey Green. Indiana has everyone else. They were beasts. We had a great team and they beat us 3 times

Yes. Rutgers was unbeaten. Mike Dabney, Rutgers second leading scorer worked with me a while. We talked a lot about that final four. I was 11 and remember it well. Gonzaga is probably the best team to equal Indiana’s run. Don’t think Gonzaga’s first five is better than Indiana’s, but their 6-9 is. Actually, if you go back and look at Indiana’s roster, their bench was weak. But Benson and Scott May were lights out, along with Buckner.
In the 76 tourney Indiana's only close call was Alabama. Michigan and Rutgers won their first round games by 1 points ( Wichita St and Princeton respectively). UCLA had a great front line that year. Richard Washington and Marquise Johnson

Loved Johnson. Princeton almost beat Rutgers during the regular season too.
I think that John Woodens last year was 74-75 so that would have been Gene Bartow's first year as the Bruins coach. What a dynasty

I missed it. Tell me about it.
If you like the ball going through the hoop, bodies hitting the floor, hatred between teams and minimal turnovers this was the game for you. The largest lead was 6 points by either team until the last minute or two. Michigan closed out the game as they normally do. That was the difference.
This article only takes you through the first half. I thought the second half was just as good.

My dad mentioned it was a really good game. I was just waiting for it to finish to switch over from the Golf Channel to CBS.
1 Gonzaga (22-0) plays tonight at 7pm against (10-6) Santa Clara.
Not watching to see who wins. Just going to watch to see some great team basketball.
After they are up 54-32 I will probably turn it off.
I'll be watching #3 Michigan vs #9 Iowa at the same time I think. League grudge match. I'll switch over to Gonzaga during the commercials

Michigan should pull it off.
They are favored but it's must win time for Iowa and Garza always lights it up against us. It should be fun.

They rolled.
Gonzaga becomes the 16th team in NCAA history to enter the tournament undefeated.
They beat some big schools this year. Not like it was a cake walk, even though their conference is not
as strong (not weak either), as many of the other conferences.
