I am new to this board and am looking to sell a very rare 1984 Donruss Don Mattingly PSA 10 Gem Mint card. The card is currently in my safe deposit box at the bank where it has been for many years. I am not sure how this site works. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! You are probably going to need verified solid references from other buying and selling platforms and a plan to execute the delivery of the card to the buyer without any complications. As far as the way the site works, you can take some pictures or scans and add to this thread since you have already created what you want to do when you get the card from the SDB. It would be a good idea to include something next to the card that indicates that it is in your possession. Maybe on a piece of paper write your user name and the date of the picture or something similar. Just a scan of the card is insufficient since you are new to the forum in my opinion. Good luck. I have seen several of these sell on various auction sites the last few months!. Iconic card!

  • Thanks so much for the information. I will be making a trip to the safe deposit box next week and will try and list it. Are there any fees when you sell something?

Paypal fees, but none from this board. Being that it’s your first time here, and welcome, it could be best to try a local pick up in your state.

I just did a $6000 transaction from this board meeting a guy half way. I also just shipped 10k worth of coins far away, but there has to be a trust between both parties.

When I first started selling here I sent the buyer a photo of my drivers license and other info. Good luck

  • Thank you.

Good advice above. Also, when you’re ready to sell, you should post in in the “Buy Sell Trade” forum on here. Good luck.

One just sold for $5500 on the 7th. Not at all unlikely to see it rise another 10% very quickly.

    welcome & ebay.com

  • I am heading to the safe deposit box tomorrow. I have to sell the card as I am out on disability. I could really use the money to help carry me until I can get back to work. What is the BST board?
