Japan 1957 and 1958 100 Yen - What's the Difference?

I decided to go through some of my world coins and separate them out by country etc. and ran across some Japan 100 yen coins that were silver. Looked them up on eBay and they are either 1957 or 1958 but from the various auctions I can see the difference between the 2 years so not sure what mine are.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Probably something right in front of me that I just am not noticing!

The eBay listings are confusing because some of them are wrong.

Depending on which way you read them...

1957 looks like this: 三 十二 or this: 二十 三
1958 looks like this: 三 十三
