Are there any die markers for when the date is mostly worn? (at least 3 people thought this might be)

Looks (kinda) like it!
Scrubbed to death, yet neat if it's the overdate.
Wiles lists some markers for die stage B on VarietyVista: http://www.varietyvista.com/08 Standing Liberty Quarters/1918SDDO001.htm
i'll say yes if there is more than one obv die known for this variety.
based on the position of the mm to known higher-grade examples, it is a no.
i was thinking it looked like one until i did the close-up comp.
<--- look what's behind the mask! - cool link 1/NO ~ 2/NNP ~ 3/NNC ~ 4/CF ~ 5/PG ~ 6/Cert ~ 7/NGC 7a/NGC pop~ 8/NGCF ~ 9/HA archives ~ 10/PM ~ 11/NM ~ 12/ANACS cert ~ 13/ANACS pop - report fakes 1/ACEF ~ report fakes/thefts 1/NCIS - Numi-Classes SS ~ Bass ~ Transcribed Docs NNP - clashed coins - error training - V V mm styles -
That's what it looks like to me
Just one die known. If the MM position doesn't match then it isn't the overdate.
I’m not a expert but send it to pcgs if you think it is.
"Die crack from star closest to designer's initial M to rim"......according to Variety Vista.
If that shows in the OP's pic then it is, indeed, the Overdate. Look closely. I'm not sure.

Agreed- the MM position makes it a definite no.
Based on the Mint mark positioning I would say that it is not an overdate.
Hard to tell, blowing up auction pic that I did not win.
It does look like the loop inside the 8 is a angled D.
Look for the clash mark by the leg, I think I see it. I vote yes & G(6) details (note the marks by her right (left to you) Knee)
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
That clash is common on SLQ. The Mint mark position is farther away from the edge of the wall on the Heritage coin than it is on the OP's coin, therefore not the overdate IMO.
And a little closer to the star as well I think youre right
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
speaking of the star, on the op's coin the top of the s is even with a star point, but on the known examples the S is under the point of the star. so I think "no."
Yea, Ron. Big difference in location.
Pete
If you use Mint mark positioning no die markers are needed.
Thanks for comments and pictures.
