Mercury Dime Question

Going through a roll of Mercury Dimes I found this 1939 S which appears to me to be a DDO as the notches are plain on the doubling, unlike mechanical doubling, yet it is not listed with Variety Vista nor CoinFacts. My question is would this be worth sending to Dr. James Wiles for attribution due to the severe cleaning, as it may be a first of its type. Thanks
Jim

can't tell from those pics
I can sort of see what you're talking about, but you might have die fatigue doubling and not a true doubled die. Hard to tell. A cleaned coin or uncleaned coin won't matter for a CONECA listing, as long as the feature in question is easily seen.

Not worth the time, energy or effort. I also agree with Messy. My hunch is that it's not a DDO.
